	ICON/SECTION	FEATURES	BENEFITS
LOG-IN PAGE	Username/Password	Username and password have to be at least 6 characters long. They are set as default to start with but can be changed by the user. This is a secure login.	Secure, protected login, data cannot be stolen or accessed by intruders.
HOME PAGE	World View	- View of fleet (boat names) on World map. - Place mouse on a vessel to see last report: - Vessel name - Time of report - Lat/Long - Course - Speed - Status: - Normal - Alert (flashing) - Low Voltage (power cut, battery being used) - Fault (incorrect installation) - Click and drag on the map to zoom in. - Map on top right corner shows selected area on the World. - Tool bar: - Back to previous view - Zoom in - Zoom out - Pan (click and drag to move map) - View entire map (to go back to World map) - Query Features (querying what is on the map: country, river, etc) - Distance tool (click on boat and drag to another point to see distance) - Select layers (select/deselect what features to be shown: borders, railways, etc) - Show/Hide legend - Print	- Easy to use - Simple layout - Boats located and alerts identified immediately - Alerts highlighted by flashing

	Select division	Click on drop down select division menu and the world icon to select a fleet (group) of vessels on a particular area of the world. A map of the area with the location of the boats is shown as well as a chart with the data for the last report for each of the vessels of the fleet.	Easy fleet management at a glance
	Create new division	To create a new fleet of vessels: choose a division name and then choose the boats (from the list available) to be included into the fleet	Simple way to group and manage boats depending on where they are in the world
	Manage Division User	To add/change the people managing the different divisions. You can also allow users to access fleet information temporarily by creating new division users. There are different types of users: - Fleet administrator - Vessel administrator - Temporary fleet user - Temporary vessel user	Only authorised people can access secure vessel/fleet information. Secure information.
	Manage Division	To add/delete vessels in a given division.	Easy way to manage your division.

	Select Vessel	Click on drop down. Select vessel menu and the world icon to select an individual vessel from the list. A map with the location of the vessel is shown as well as the course history. Click on the arrow icon on the map to see information of last report. There are also different tabs: - Vessel: display of boat’s details: name, picture, IMO number, MMSI number, DCC number, type, call sign and tonnage (these details have to be entered by the user) - Tracker: - Manageable accounts, follow vessel’s whereabouts for up to 3 years. Select dates to see tracking history - polling (amount of polls available) - report history (click on the different positions to see them on the map; reports kept for up to 3 years) - Alert (see below)	Easy to view information for individual vessels. Change to vessel’s details can be made at any time. Manageable accounts, you can follow your vessel’s whereabouts for up to 3 years
	Maps	Map can be displayed in the following formats: - C-Map - Multi Map: - Satellite view - Map view - Hybrid view - Demis	Unique, optional map layout
	Alert	Alert status: - Ok: normal status - Alert: boat flashes on world map - Trial: when the system is being tested - Reset: after the system has been tested the unit has to be reset to OK status - Self diagnosis: when the battery level is low this icon changes colour - Alert contacts: Up to 3 emergency contacts chosen by the user, it should include some authority such as the Coast Guard. Alerts can be received as emails, sms or fax. Alert contacts can be added/deleted by the fleet or vessel administrator at any time.	Simple, easy to understand Ship Security Alert System.
